Bollywood star hero Akshay Kumar who once delivered consecutive blockbusters, hasn’t been in a great phase recently. The actor will be next seen in the movie Selfiee which is up for a grand release tomorrow in theatres.
The film is the official remake of the Malayalam hit Driving License, and Akshay plays a superstar in this flick, reprising Prithviraj Sukumaran. Though Akshay has been promoting the movie aggressively, the film has a low buzz, and the advance sales aren’t much encouraging.
Hopefully, the equation might turn around if the movie gets good word of mouth. Emraan Hashmi will be seen as an admirer of Akshay in the movie, which has Nushrratt Bharuccha and Diana Penty as the female leads. Raj Mehta directed this remake which also has the cameo of Mrunal Thakur.
