Youthful entertainer Mad Square hit the big screens yesterday. The film, directed by Kalyan Shankar, features Narne Nithin, Sangeeth Shobhan, and Ram Nithin in lead roles. The first installment was a big hit at the box office, and hence, the sequel had solid hype from the very beginning.
The movie collected a distributor share of Rs. 2.34 crores in Nizam yesterday, and this is a sensational opening for a small-budget film. The reports are decent, and the film is expected to show solid momentum this weekend. There is a holiday on Monday due to Eid, and this will further boost Mad Square’s box-office prospects.
The worldwide breakeven target is Rs. 23 crores. Priyanka Jawalkar played a key role. Naga Vamsi and Sai Soujanya jointly bankrolled the project under the banners of Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas. Bheems Ceciroleo composed the tunes.
