OG actress Priyanka Arul Mohan will next be seen in Made in Korea, an Indo-Korean Tamil film created exclusively for Netflix. This project marks her OTT debut. After teasing it for several days, Netflix has officially announced the streaming date.
Made in Korea will premiere on March 12, 2026, and will be available in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Kannada, and Malayalam. The film follows Shenba (Priyanka Mohan), a young woman from a small town in Tamil Nadu whose lifelong dream is to visit South Korea. When her dream finally becomes a reality and she moves to Seoul, she discovers that life there is far more challenging than imagined. As she navigates cultural differences and emotional hurdles, she embarks on a journey of self-discovery and resilience.
Joining Priyanka is Korean actress Park Hye-jin, known for Squid Game, who makes her Indian OTT debut with this film. Rishikanth, Jaehyun Jang, and others are also part of the cast.
Produced by Sreenidhi Sagar under the banner of Rise East Entertainment, the film is written and directed by Ra. Karthik, who is currently filming Akkineni Nagarjuna’s milestone 100th film.
Editing is handled by Lewellyn Anthony Gonsalvez, cinematography by Prasanna Kumar, and music is composed by Hesham Abdul Wahab. The trailer for this under-two-hour film is expected to be launched soon.
