GDN, based on the life of renowned Indian industrialist and inventor G.D. Naidu, is now streaming on Netflix. Directed by Krishnakumar Ramakumar, the biographical drama features Madhavan in the lead role as the celebrated inventor, who is often referred to as the “Edison of India.”
Netflix is streaming the film in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Kannada and Malayalam, giving it a wider audience after its theatrical run. Released in cinemas on August 7, GDN did not achieve the expected response at the box office and now gets a fresh opportunity to connect with viewers through the OTT platform.
The film also stars Priyamani, Dushara Vijayan, Sathyaraj, Jayaram, Thambi Ramaiah, Vinay Rai and Karunakaran in important roles. Produced by Madhavan, Sarita Madhavan, Vijay Moolan and Varghese Moolan, the film has music by Govind Vasantha.
