Mahanati, the much loved biopic on legendary yesteryear heroine Savitri, has had a fabulous first week at the box-offices worldwide. The film is inching closer the $2 million millstone in the US.
In Nizam, Mahanati is continuing its dream run even after completing a week at the ticket counters. On its 9th day, Mahanati collected a solid share of Rs 49,138,38 and took its 9-day total to Rs 5.89 crore in the Nizam region. With no major releases in the coming few days, Mahanati is expected to improve its overall collections.
Keerthy Suresh immortalized Savitri’s character in Mahanati. Dulquer Salmaan, Samantha, Vijay Deverakonda, Rajendra Prasad, Mohan Babu and Prakash Raj and others played important roles in this Nag Ashwin directorial. Swapna and Priyanka Dutt have jointly produced the movie under Vyjayanthi Movies and Swapna Cinema banners.
