On Day 2, more than 199K tickets were sold on BookMyShow alone. As expected, Day 3 (Sunday) saw even higher footfalls, with over 207K tickets sold, marking a significant achievement for any Tamil movie released in 2024. Monday’s collections reportedly exceeded those of the previous days, propelling the film to blockbuster status.
Maharaja features an ensemble cast, including Anurag Kashyap, Mamta Mohandas, Sachana Namidass, Natty (Natraj), Bharathiraja, Abhiram, Singampuli, Aruldoss, Munishkanth, Vinoth Sagar, Boys Manikandan, Kalki, and others in key roles. Produced by Sudhan Sundaram and Jagadish Palanisamy, the movie features music by Ajaneesh Loknath.
