Released yesterday amid high expectations and to a thumping response from fans, Superstar Mahesh Babu’s landmark 25th film, Maharshi, went on to become the best opener in the actor’s career. Mahesh’s emotional performance and the way he effortlessly pulled off the three avatars impressed his fans and critics.
On its opening day, Maharshi collected a distributor share of Rs 24.25 crores in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. Maharshi is the fifth among the all-time highest grossing Telugu movies, after Baahubali 2, Agnyaathavaasi, Aravindha Sametha and Vinaya Vidheya Rama.
