The craze is such that, within an hour since the trend began, the hashtag had entered the top Twitter trends in the world.
So far, the hashtag #HBDMaheshBabu has been trended nearly 12 million times in about 2 hours, which is a new world record by a huge margin. Fans are planning to break the existing record of 63 million hashtags within 24 hours by tomorrow evening. Going by the euphoria, it looks like Mahesh’s birthday will be even more memorable this time around.
