Superstar Prince Mahesh Babu is thoroughly relishing the grand success of his latest outing, Srimanthudu. Usually a very reticent Mahesh has aggressively promoted the movie due to the strong social content around which the entire plot revolves. The concept of rural development, which is the message undercurrent in the film, has thoroughly attracted many political bigwigs and rich NRI’s towards the idea of adopting the underdeveloped villages of both Andhra and Telangana.
Now, Prince Mahesh Babu has himself came forward to adopt the Burripalem village. In a recent media interaction, Mahesh Babu has revealed that he had planned to adopt the village while shooting for the film, but didn’t reveal his idea as people may think his gesture as a movie publicity stunt. Now, he has formally announced that in a couple of months all the plans to develop the village will be devised. It is well known that Burripalem is the native place of Mahesh’s father actor Krishna. Interestingly, Krishna acted in a movie titled Burripalem Bullodu and he has shot a couple of his films in that village.
This noble gesture by Mahesh is drawing huge acclaim from the people of both Telugu speaking states.
