Mahesh Babu’s much-awaited Varanasi is back in the news, with Oscar-winning composer MM Keeravaani revealing an interesting detail about the highly anticipated film.

During a recent public appearance, Keeravaani confirmed that the SS Rajamouli directorial will feature six songs. Keeravaani had earlier revealed that he will begin work on the film’s background score in September and plans to complete it by January.

The music will be an important part of the massive-scale project, which stars Mahesh Babu in the lead role. Priyanka Chopra and Prithviraj Sukumaran play significant roles in Varanasi, which is produced by KL Narayana and SS Karthikeya.
