Yesterday, Hyderabadi cricket star VVS Laxman took to Twitter and showered praises on Superstar Mahesh Babu’s blockbuster silver jubilee film, Maharshi. Laxman tweeted that Maharshi delivers a “strong and inspiring message” and also appreciated Mahesh’s performance in the film, describing it as “powerful”. In turn, Mahesh replied to Laxman’s tweet and thanked him for liking the movie.
Maharshi released as a summer treat and went on to collect over Rs 102 crore share, becoming the all-time fourth highest grossing Telugu movie. This Vamshi Paidipally directorial highlighted the agrarian crisis that runs deep in the twin Telugu states. Dil Raju, Ashwini Dutt and PVP jointly produced the movie.
