Ram Charan, the global star of Telugu cinema, has taken a significant step in his career by launching his production banner, V Mega Pictures, in association with his friend Vikram Reddy of UV Creations. Their first project, titled The India House, was announced in association with Abhishek Agarwal Arts.
The India House marks the directorial debut of Ram Vamsi Krishna and features Nikhil Siddhartha as Shiva and Anupam Kher as Shyamji Krishna Varma. The announcement was made on the occasion of the freedom fighter Vir Sarvakar’s birthday, with a power-packed video released via the social media accounts of Ram Charan, V Mega Pictures, and Abhishek Agarwal Arts.
The film is set in the pre-independence era (1905) in London and promises to take the audience back in time and immerse them in a tale that touches their hearts. The teaser hints at a love story unfolding during a time of political turmoil around The India House, culminating in the dramatic imagery of a burning India House, suggesting the drama that lies ahead.
The makers have announced that the movie will be released in major Indian languages and selected foreign languages, and Cameron Bryson will handle the cinematography. More details about the rest of the cast and crew will be updated soon.
