The much-awaited theatrical trailer for Naga Chaitanya and Samantha’s soon-to-release romantic drama, Majili, was unveiled at the film’s pre-release event tonight. The 2 minute-long trailer is filled with elements like love, aspiration, dependence and longing and promises an emotional ride in cinemas this summer.
Majili is set in Vizag. Chay plays Poorna, a jobless middle-class husband who lives off his doting wife Sravani, essayed by an endearing Samantha. The trailer also explores middle-class family dynamics. Chay has an interesting flashback, where he plays a cricketer who is in love with another girl (Divyanka Kaushik). Chay-Sam’s chemistry seems ro be the main highlight of Majili.
Shiva Nirvana has directed Majili and Sahu Garapati and Harish Peddi have jointly produced it. Gopi Sundar and Thaman have scored the songs and background score respectively. Majili is slated to hit screens on April 5.
