Naga Chaitanya and Samantha’s Majili was a blockbuster success in Telugu. Directed by Shiva Nirvana, this romantic sports drama holds a special place in the hearts of the audience. Bollywood couple Genelia and Ritesh Deshmukh remade the film in Marathi as Ved, which was released last Friday.
The movie is well received by the Marathi audience, and according to the update, the film made a total of 13 crores in its four days. This is superb for a Marathi movie, and the Monday collections are higher than the opening day numbers.
The most interesting thing here is Ritesh Deshmukh himself directed the film. This is the first film for Ritesh as director, and his better half Genelia bankrolled this project. Ved also stars Jiya Shankar, Ashok Saraf, and Vidyadhar Joshi in vital roles.
