Producer Namit Malhotra has reportedly made a bold decision by rejecting a massive Rs 1000 crore offer for the two-part epic Ramayana.

The ambitious project, which is being mounted on a grand scale, is already one of the most talked-about films in Indian cinema and the teaser was revealed recently.

Sources suggest that Malhotra turned down the deal as he strongly believes in the long-term value and global potential of the film. Instead of opting for a quick financial gain, he is said to be focusing on building the Ramayana franchise into a worldwide cinematic spectacle.

This move has surprised trade circles, but also reflects the confidence the makers have in the project. With such high stakes, expectations around Ramayana continue to soar.
