Sandalwood’s latest money-spinner, Premada Oorali, continues to set the cash registers ringing irrespective of weekdays or weekends. The family entertainer has so far earned about Rs. 70 crores globally, with Karnataka being the top contributor.
The latest news reveals that the makers are yet to sell the OTT rights to any digital platform, meaning the movie will stay in theatres for a longer period. It is said that the team has prioritised theatrical revenue over digital rights. The film is expected to cash in on the Dussehra festival advantage.
Premada Oorali will soon overtake Toxic in the state to become the industry’s biggest grosser of 2026. Directed by Manoj Kumar, the movie stars Ranganaya Raghu, Shree Raam, Thapaswini Poonacha, and Ramika Shivu in the lead roles.
