After scoring a hit with Bhooth Bangla, Akshay Kumar is now working on a comedy entertainer directed by Anees Bazmee. After wrapping it up, he will begin filming for Kanishk Verma’s directorial, produced by Amrutlal Shah.
As per a report in Pinkvilla, the movie is being designed as a large-scale, VFX-heavy spectacle and aims to introduce a completely new ‘Man vs Alien’ genre to Indian cinema. The story will reportedly revolve around survival, action, and a common man finding himself trapped in an extraordinary situation.
The producer had earlier delivered solid hits with Akshay Kumar. Currently in the pre-production stage, the project is expected to go on floors from August 2026. Akshay is reportedly excited about the film, as it is unlike anything attempted before.
