Ponniyin Selvan-2, the much-awaited sequel to Mani Ratnam’s magnum opus Ponniyin Selvan-1, has made the headlines again. Vikram, Karthi, Trisha, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, and Jayam Ravi are the lead actors in this period action drama.
The movie was originally scheduled to hit screens on April 28, 2023, worldwide. But a new gossip has been doing rounds on social media that the movie will be postponed indefinitely. it is rumoured that the film will be delayed due to technical issues. However, an official announcement from the team is still awaited.
The star-studded biggie is produced by Lyca Productions in association with Madras Talkies. Mozart of Madras AR Rahman is the tunesmith of this flick, which will be released in major Indian languages.
