Megastar Chiranjeevi didn’t have a great start this year, as his Acharya turned out to be a massive disappointment. As Megastar teamed up with a blockbuster director like Koratala Siva, the expectations were solid, but the movie didn’t succeed in reaching them.
Another aspect that disappointed the fans is the background score given by Mani Sharma. Chiru and Mani Sharma have some memorable albums in the past, and still, the fans reminisce about the thunderous background of Stalin, which gives goosebumps.
Mani Sharma made some surprising remarks about Acharya’s background in Ali’s talk show. The music director said he knew what fans expect from their combo and composed a version accordingly. However, he added that the director wanted something different from the usual style, and hence there was a change in the background score.
