The controversy surrounding actor Mansoor Ali Khan’s sexist comments about actress Trisha Krishnan seems far from resolution. Much of the industry has sided with Trisha, some even calling for Mansoor’s arrest.
In a recent press meet, Mansoor Ali Khan defiantly stated that he would not apologise to anyone and continued to stand by his controversial remarks. He criticised the Nadigar Sangam for hastily considering his suspension, claiming they did not inquire about the issue before taking action. Mansoor gave the Sangam a four-hour ultimatum to retract their statement.
Also, Mansoor Ali Khan sang the national anthem to evade media questions. However, this move backfired, and the media strongly criticised him. Mansoor, seemingly unfazed, walked away. The unfolding events will determine the outcome of this ongoing issue.
