For the past few days, senior Tamil actor Mansoor Ali Khan has been making headlines for all the wrong reasons. The actor has been receiving immense backlash for his sexist and derogatory comments on his Leo co-star Trisha. A couple of days after the Tamil Nadu Police booked Mansoor following the National Council for Women’s (NCW) intervention, the senior actor relented and tendered an apology to Trisha. But much to everyone’s surprise, Trisha promptly “forgave” Mansoor.

Now, in a surprise move, Mansoor today announced that he will be filing defamation cases against Trisha, Megastar Chiranjeevi and senior actress Khushboo in connection with the issue. Mansoor has said that he will file cases against the above three actors on the charges of defamation and disturbing public peace for 10 days, civil and criminal, and pre-planned riots against him.

Mansoor also reiterated that the video in circulation was fabricated and that he will be producing the original video and other evidences to prove his innocence while filing the case tomorrow. It’s well known that Chiru and Khushboo, along with numerous other film personalities and fans across the country, had blasted Mansoor and expressed their solidarity with Trisha in the entire episode.
