Malayalam action drama Marco is a massive blockbuster at the box office. The makers promoted Marco as the most violent Malayalam film ever, and this helped the movie grab the eyeballs. Those who saw the film are saying that Marco isn’t for the faint-hearted.
Marco has now set a new benchmark by becoming the first Malayalam A-rated film to breach the Rs. 100 crore gross mark. The film’s protagonist, Unni Mukundan, shared this news on his X profile, and soon fans took to the comments section to congratulate him. Marco is still getting decent collections, and the movie is looking to make the most of Cinema Lovers’ Day (Jan 17), as tickets will be priced at Rs. 99 in the PVR Cinemas.
Directed by Haneef Adeni and produced by Shareef Muhammed under the Cubes Entertainments banner, Marco also received extensive critical acclaim for its stellar performances, stunning cinematography, and powerful musical score. The movie also features Siddique, Jagadish, Abhimanyu S Thilakan, Kabir Duhan Singh, Anson Paul, and Yukti Tareja in key roles. Ravi Basrur composed the music.
