The theatrical trailer of India’s biggest sequel, Dhurandhar: The Revenge, headlined by Ranveer Singh, will be launched tomorrow at 11:01 AM. The update has got the internet buzzing, and the trailer is expected to break previous records.
According to a report in Pinkvilla, the advance bookings for this tentpole project will kick off tomorrow in India as soon as the promotional asset drops digitally. Since the demand is at an all-time high, national chains are reportedly opting for “Super Blockbuster Plus Pricing” for the film, meaning ticket prices will be around 25% higher than the normal rates.
There is said to be another key reason behind the ultra-premium pricing. Since the film is expected to be nearly four hours long, PVR INOX and Cinepolis chains are reportedly moving ahead with mega blockbuster pricing.
Given the sky-high hype, the film is expected to clock monstrous advances as soon as the tickets go live. Until now, Baahubali 2: The Conclusion holds the record for the highest number of tickets sold in national chains, with around 6.5 lakh tickets. Trade pundits predict that Dhurandhar: The Revenge might emerge as the first Indian film to sell over 1 million tickets before its release.
