Thalapathy Vijay’s final film, Jana Nayagan, is set for a grand theatrical release on January 9, 2026. Directed by H. Vinoth, this political action drama stars Pooja Hegde in the female lead.
Reports suggest that Amazon Prime Video has acquired the film’s digital rights for a staggering Rs. 121 crore, while Sun TV has reportedly bagged the satellite rights for Rs. 55 crore. If these numbers hold true, Jana Nayagan will mark one of the biggest post-theatrical deals in Tamil cinema.
The film features Bobby Deol as the antagonist, alongside a stellar supporting cast, including Mamitha Baiju, Prakash Raj, Gautham Vasudev Menon, and Priyamani.
