Michael opens with poor initial reviews; fans are shocked

Michael is a biographical film based on the life of the popular American pop singer Michael Jackson. The film, headlined by Jaafar Jackson, shocked fans with its initial reviews, which described the film as poor and bland.

On the popular website Rotten Tomatoes, Michael debuted with a score of 27%, a largely negative response from critics. Since the expectations are pretty high, the initial reactions came as a rude shock for those who have been waiting to see the movie.

The Antoine Fuqua-directed film about the King of Pop showcases his journey in a detailed manner, covering the period from his involvement in the Jackson 5 in the 60s to his early solo career. Nia Long, Laura Harrier, Juliano Krue Valdi, Miles Teller, and others play key roles.
