Actor-filmmaker Kamal Haasan had overtaken the rights of his long-delayed film on global terrorism, Vishwaroopam 2, from the film’s original producer Aascar Ravichandran earlier this year. Kamal even resumed the film’s post-production work as soon as he wrapped up Bigg Boss Tamil.
And here comes the highly-anticipated update. Vishwaroopam 2’s music composer Ghibran revealed at an event yesterday that the film’s “mind-blowing” trailer will be released soon on a special occasion. Since then, fans and media circles have been abuzz with the news that the trailer will be out on November 7 as Kamal’s birthday treat for fans.
Vishwaroopam, written and directed by Kamal himself, released in 2013 and became a smash hit in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi. Expectations are naturally quite high on the film’s sequel.
