MMIRR director Kranthi Madhav’s new film DGL announced

Director K Kranthi Madhav, known for helming Sharwanand and Nitya Menen’s Malli Malli Idi Rani Roju (MMIRR) and Vijay Deverakonda and Raashi Khanna’s World Famous Lover, is back with his new project. Interestingly titled DGL, the film was announced this evening.

DGL is a coming-of-age drama inspired by real events. The film is set in Telangana. The first look poster features a group of friends enjoying themselves on the top of a railway bridge near Kazipet Junction, with a train passing below. The poster reads – “Journey Begins.”

DGL is being produced by Ganta Karthik Reddy under his Arthi Creative Team banner. The film’s regular shoot will commence in November. Details of the film’s cast and crew will be revealed soon.
