Mythri Movie Makers had two theatrical releases on August 21, 2026. One was Ravi Teja’s Irumudi, while the other was the Tamil film Modha Rathiri. Now, the latter is back in the spotlight as its OTT release has been locked.
According to the latest information, Modha Rathiri will start streaming on Netflix from September 18, 2026. The film will be available in multiple languages, including Telugu, making it accessible to a wider audience on the OTT platform.
Modha Rathiri is a Tamil comedy-drama with mystery elements. The film stars Rishikanth and Anishma Anilkumar in the lead roles. The supporting cast includes Bagavathi Perumal, A. Venkatesh, Chetan, Abdool Lee, Shelly Kishore, Sangeetha Balan and Banupriya. The film is directed by Raja Karuppasamy, marking his feature directorial debut.
The film received a modest response from critics, while audience reactions have been comparatively positive. With its OTT release, Modha Rathiri is expected to reach a much wider audience, particularly with the availability of the Telugu version.
