Veteran actor Mohan Babu made a lot of heads turn ahead of the recent AP elections when he took a strong stand against the TDP government over the fee reimbursement issue. Subsequently, he joined YSRCP and even campaigned for them in Chittoor district.
After YSRCP won with a thumping majority, there were rumours that Mohan Babu was eyeing the post of TTD Chairman; however, Mohan Babu denied these rumours. “I joined politics only to support YS Jagan and did my bit. I have no interest in any posts and I am not eyeing anything. I request the media to stop speculating,” he said.
It remains to be seen what he does next, and if he is going to make a comeback on big screen anytime soon.
