The Malayalam action thriller Thudakkam has drawn widespread attention, particularly for marking the big-screen debut of Vismaya Mohanlal, daughter of superstar Mohanlal. It also features Aashish Joe Antony in a central antagonistic role, along with a much-talked-about appearance by Mohanlal.
Following its theatrical run, Thudakkam will stream globally on JioHotstar from September 18 in Malayalam, along with dubbed versions in Tamil, Hindi, Telugu, and Kannada.
Directed by Jude Anthany Joseph, the film follows a grounded survival story driven by intense hand-to-hand combat. The film also showcases Vismaya’s real-life Muay Thai training in its action sequences.
Produced by Aashirvad Cinemas, the story follows a martial artist who is forced into a relentless struggle to protect two young girls from a violent syndicate. With a strong theatrical run behind it, Thudakkam now looks to reach a wider pan-Indian audience through its digital premiere.
