Amid high expectations and a positive pre-release buzz, Akhil Akkineni’s third film, Mr Majnu, released last Friday. Although the film has managed to impress the Akkineni fans, it is having a hard time at the box-offices in the twin Telugu states and overseas.
In the US, Mr Majnu collected a meagre $3,777 on Monday. The film’s 4-day total US gross is 207,342, including the Thursday night premieres. And on Tuesday, Mr Majnu has so far collected $4,096 until 5:30 PM EST. The film is expected to end its full-run with a gross of around $235K.
