Mrunal Thakur is gearing up to entertain audiences with the OTT film Pooja Meri Jaan. The movie is slated to release on ZEE5 on October 2. According to reports, the film has received an A certificate from the censor board.
Generally speaking, an OTT film doesn’t require a censor certificate, but Pooja Meri Jaan was initially planned for a theatrical release and later moved to OTT. The runtime of the movie is said to be under two hours. For the uninitiated, the Mrunal Thakur-starrer was wrapped up four years ago, and finally, it is set to see the light of day, but on OTT.
The movie, also starring Huma Qureshi, is directed by Navjot Gulati and produced by Dinesh Vijan under the banner of Maddock Films. The film follows Pooja, whose life takes a disturbing turn following the death of her lover. Vikram Singh Chauhan and veteran actor Vijay Raaz will be seen in key roles.
