Kollywood actor Gautham Karthik, who married actress Manjima Mohan a few months ago, will be seen next in August 16, 1947. Directed by debutant filmmaker NS Ponkumar, the movie’s release date has been announced today.
The makers have officially announced that the movie will hit screens on April 7, 2023. An interesting poster has also been released to announce the same. The team also announced that the movie will be released in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Hindi, and English.
Produced by noted director AR Murugadoss along with Om Prakash Bhatt and Narsiram Choudhary, the period drama has Revathy, Richard Ashton, Robert, Pugazh and others in key roles. Sean Roldan and Selvakumar SV handled music and cinematography, respectively.
