After earning appreciation for her portrayal of an innocent woman in The Girlfriend, Rashmika Mandanna takes on an intense and unexpected action role in Mysaa. Helmed by debutant director Rawindra Pulle, the film’s action glimpse was released today.
It showcases Rashmika in a never-before-seen avatar. She appears rebellious in a tribal look, holding a gun, with blood on her body and broken handcuffs. The voice-over adds weight to her character, and the glimpse works reasonably well overall.
Tarak Ponnappa plays a key role in the film. Produced by Unformula Films on a massive budget, Mysaa is planned for release in multiple languages. Jakes Bejoy serves as the music director, and the film is currently in production.
