Bollywood’s mammoth blockbuster Hanuman Ansh is now being released in Telugu through Hombale Films this week. A pre-release press meet was held in Hyderabad, which was attended by the cast and crew.
Mythri Ravi Shankar also attended the event and made some interesting comments that highlighted the gaps in the industry. He stated that Hanuman Ansh collecting Rs. 400 crore despite being made on a Rs. 2 crore budget feels like a slap in the face.
He added, “Though we are spending crores of money, we aren’t sure how much the films will earn. Hanuman Ansh is the real PAN-Indian film. I request the makers to release it in whatever language possible.” The devotional entertainer is surely a wake-up call for the industry to focus on content, as extreme budgets can’t save a bad product.
