During the promotions of Singeetam Srinivasa Rao’s Sing Geetham, Nag Ashwin was asked if he ever loses his cool on set while working on a big film like Kalki 2898 AD. Nag Ashwin replied that he never does so, as it might affect the entire team and the final output.
“Definitely, I get worked up and upset. But I try not to project it onto the people around me. If I end up shouting at people, work gets even worse and results in re-shoots. The thing is that everyone is working their butt off for your vision. It’s very easy to shout at an assistant or a manager. I try to solve the problem,” said Nag Ashwin.
The director added that he indeed gets angry with himself when he fails to spot a problem earlier. Nag Ashwin is currently busy directing Kalki 2, while also actively promoting Sing Geetham.
