In November last year, star character artiste turned politician Prakash Raj came under a sharp verbal attack by Naga Babu over the former’s criticism of Janasena chief Pawan Kalyan for aligning with the BJP, the party which Pawan vehemently opposed until last year. And Prakash Raj responded to Naga Babu’s tweets in his calm but outspoken style. However, the issue was forgotten in no time.
Now, surprising everyone, Naga Babu has heaped praises on Prakash Raj and also extended his support for Prakash Raj’s run for MAA presidentship. “I believe that the Telugu film industry will benefit if a person like Prakash Raj becomes MAA President. We will wholeheartedly support Prakash Raj in the upcoming MAA elections. Prakash Raj doesn’t belong to one particular film industry. He is a pan-India actor,” said Naga Babu.
Naga Babu further added that even though there are ideological differences between him and Prakash Raj, they will join hands with each other and work for the welfare of the artiste’s fraternity and the film industry.
