Producer Naga Vamsi and Vishwak Sen interacted with the media ahead of Gangs of Godavari’s release tomorrow. During the interaction, a reporter asked if there would be any similarities between Gangs of Godavari and Dhanush’s Vada Chennai. Naga Vamsi stated that Gangs of Godavari will be in Vada Chennai style.
Naga Vamsi stated, “I won’t say we made the film as good as Vetrimaaran Garu. It will fall under the same genre as Vada Chennai. Gangs of Godavari is a rags-to-riches story. For example, in Pushpa, we saw how Bunny Garu became an influential person in the red smuggling syndicate. In Gangs of Godavari, we will show the journey of a young man named Lankala Rathna who grows in life through politics.”
Naga Vamsi clarified that Gangs of Godavari is in no way similar to Anurag Kashyap’s Gangs of Wasseypur. Neha Sshetty and Anjali are the leading ladies in this intense action drama. Yuvan Shankar Raja composed the tunes.
