According to star producer Naga Vamsi, 2025 has been a bad year for Tollywood, with only a few films making it big at the box office. The producer expressed his disappointment with the underwhelming performance of many films.
Speaking in an interview, he said, “Only Sankranthiki Vasthunam, Court, and Little Hearts are big money spinners for 2025. Films like Daaku Maharaaj, Thandel, HIT 3, Single, and Kuberaa worked to an extent, but, as I mentioned earlier, only those three films became massive hits. To be frank, not many worked big time.”
Naga Vamsi added, “Little Hearts happened because we instilled confidence in filmmakers that small movies will also perform well with the Mad and Tillu franchises. If they click, they click big time because of the entertainment quotient.”
