Action King Arjun’s Blast (Blast Zone in Telugu) emerged as a massive blockbuster in Tamil. The film also stars Abhirami and Preity Mukhundhan in lead roles. In the Telugu states, Blast Zone performed decently.
What surprised many was the lack of proper promotions despite Naga Vamsi distributing the film and the presence of well-known actors in the movie. During the promotions for Lenin, the star Telugu producer revealed the reason. Naga Vamsi said he intentionally chose not to promote Blast aggressively in Telugu, and he had a reason for doing so.
“How could I promote it with Peddi releasing around the same time? If I had promoted it then, everyone would’ve said I was targeting the Mega family,” said Naga Vamsi. Many believe Blast Zone could have performed even better at the Telugu box office if it had received stronger promotions.
