Producer Naga Vamsi’s recent production Epic-First Semester turned out to be an underwhelming outing at the box office. Baby fame Anand Deverakonda and Vaishnavi Chaitanya played the lead roles, while Aditya Hasan made his feature film directorial debut.
Netflix, which holds the romantic drama’s digital streaming rights, has announced the premiere date. Epic-First Semester will arrive on the platform in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam on October 9, 2026.
Whether the film can find some OTT love remains to be seen. The film also features Sivaji, Vasuki, Srinivas Gavireddy, Kalyan Shankar and others in key roles.
Sai Soujanya co-produced the film, which was released in cinemas on September 11, 2026. Hesham Abdul Wahab composed the music.
