Nagarjuna reveals an interesting story about why he backed Pallaburusu

Akkineni Nagarjuna attended the pre-release event of Palalburu, a small-budget film backed by Annapurna Studios. The movie is all set to hit theaters on August 14 and has already generated interest for its rooted Telangana backdrop.

Speaking at the event, Nagarjuna revealed the inspiration behind supporting the project. He said that throughout his career, he had acted in and produced several films that showcased Andhra culture.

Nagarjuna shared that the idea was first suggested to him by senior politician Bhatti Vikramarka. The conversation planted a seed in his mind, and since then, he had been looking for the right story to bring Telangana’s essence to the big screen, and when he heard Pallaburus’s script, he okayed it right away.
