In October 2025, it was announced that Nagarjuna and Mani Ratnam’s cult classic Geethanjali would return to cinemas in 4K on November 14, 2025, but the re-release did not happen. It was later planned for August 28, 2026, but that date was also postponed. Now, Annapurna Studios has confirmed the film’s new re-release date.
The evergreen classic will make its re-entry into cinemas on November 13, 2026, giving audiences a chance to cherish its magic in enhanced audio and video. Shree Padmini Cinemas is handling the re-release.
Girija Shettar’s memorable debut and Ilaiyaraaja’s soulful music remain among the film’s biggest highlights, helping Geethanjali become an iconic Telugu classic. The 37-year-old film was produced under the Bhagyalakshmi Enterprises banner. More updates are expected soon.
