Natural Star Nani’s Hi Nanna is a romantic drama directed by Shouryuv. Many questioned Nani’s choice as he decided to do a class film after a rustic film like Dasara. The actor was asked about the same in an interview. Nani said that he never set the expectations among the audience about the kind of movies he would do.
Nani said, “Had Chiranjeevi Garu done only mass films post-Khaidi, his filmography wouldn’t have been this great. Though Chiranjeevi Garu is a huge star among the masses, his choice of films across genres earned him massive respect among all sections of the audience.”
Nani continued, “I never wanted to be a big star. I want memorable films in my career. I want the audience to talk about my movies for a long time. I am not comparing myself to Chiranjeevi Garu. I am just giving an example.”
