Veteran actor Naresh has completed 55 glorious years in the film industry. To mark the milestone, the Hon’ble Governor of Goa, H.E. Sri Pusapati Ashok Gajapathi Raju, felicitated the actor at Raj Bhavan. The event was held as part of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 76th birthday celebrations.
During a special tea hosted at Lok Bhavan, Naresh spoke about his long cinematic journey, social service, and experience in public life. Apart from his acting career, he has held state and national positions in the BJP before shifting his focus completely towards public service.
Naresh continues to stay active in cinema, taking up diverse character-driven and lead roles in major PAN-India projects. He also enjoys a strong following among younger audiences.
The veteran actor has been particularly involved in social initiatives across Rayalaseema, including the revival and restoration of water bodies in Anantapur. He is also working towards preserving the region’s traditional and dying art forms, besides serving as an ambassador for a UNIGO wing.
