Yesterday, Vishnu Induri and Brinda Prasad, one of the producers of NTR and Kapil Dev biopics, announced a biopic on former actress and Tamil Nadu CM Jayalalithaa. The film will be launched on the 24th of February, 2019 on Jayaa’s birth anniversary.
Now, the latest buzz is that national award-winning Bollywood actress Vidya Balan is the frontrunner to essay Jayalalithaa’s role in the latter’s biopic. However, this is a mere speculation and we will have to wait until the official my is made from the makers. AL Vijay is going to direct this prestigious project.
Incidentally, Vidya Balan is essaying Basavatarakam’s role in NTR. She will also reprise former Indian prime minister Indira Gandhi’s role in a web-series.
