Yesterday, India celebrated its National Cinema Day and the theaters across the country sold tickets for 75 rupees flat to make the cinegoers happy.
This move saw a welcome change as a number of theaters across the country saw sold out shows. In the south, especially Hyderabad, the tickets were sold for 112 rupees.
But still, there were packed houses in many areas of Telugu states. As per the Bollywood media, a record 6.5 million people watched different films across the country in a single day.
This is something huge and shows the fact that if the rates are reduced film lovers would surely throng the theaters and make the producers happy.
