It is not everyday that you get a chance to act in a Shah Rukh Khan Film. And people usually don’t turn down an offer to appear in King Khan’s films. But that is exactly what glamour girl Nayanathara did.

She was approached by ‘Chennai Express’ director Rohit Shetty to perform an item song in the film opposite SRK. But Nayanathara politely refused, stating that she is not interested in such item song appearances for now. Apparently, Nayanathara did not want her Bollywood debut to be made with an item song.

The actress is enjoying a good second innings and her career is currently flourishing. She will be seen in Akkineni Nagarjuna’s ‘Greeku Veerudu’ this summer.
