Nayanthara’s Mookuthi Amman 2, directed by Sundar C, is set to release in theatres on November 6, 2026. The film is heading for a direct clash with Suriya’s Scene and the big-budget Ramayana. Meanwhile, the movie is now in the news for Nayanthara’s cutout.
A 60-foot cutout of Nayanthara has been installed at Vels Theatres in Chembarambakkam, Chennai. Its height has caught attention, with claims that it is the tallest cutout ever erected for an actress in India. This has become an interesting promotional move for the film ahead of its release.
The film is releasing in Telugu as Mahasakthi. The buzz around the sequel is not very high so far, and the makers need to step up their promotions in the coming days. Produced by Vels Film International and Rowdy Pictures, the movie also features Regina Cassandra, Duniya Vijay, Ajay Ghosh, Urvashi, Abhinaya, Yogi Babu and others.
