Nandamuri Balakrishna’s much-awaited sequel, Akhanda 2, hit the screens last Friday. The film, directed by Boyapati Sreenu, opened to mixed reviews from critics. The makers are now busy with the post-release promotions, and efforts are being made to take the film closer to the North Indian audiences.
Balakrishna’s next film is with Gopichand Malineni. The project marks the second collaboration between the duo after Veera Simha Reddy, which was a commercial success. The movie is tentatively titled #NBK111, and the latest update reveals that Balakrishna will croon a song in this biggie set against the period backdrop.
The film’s music composer, Thaman, himself confirmed this crazy update, and fans are eagerly looking forward to the same. Thaman revealed that the special song will be on the lines of Saahore Baahubali from Baahubali 2, sung by Daler Mehndi. Balakrishna plays dual roles, and Nayanthara is the female lead.
